Vitreo-Retinal Surgery or Micro-Incisional Vitrectomy Surgery (MIVS) is an advanced form of eye surgery in which typically three micro-entries are made inside the eye - using instruments which are about 0.5 mm in size.
Indications include Retinal Detachment, Vitreous Hemorrhage, Macular Hole, Epiretinal Membrane, Posteriorly dislocated lens, Silicon Oil Removal Surgery and Intra-ocular foreign body removal surgery.
